I don't get this. The PR says "new port", but databases/py-mysql-connector-python already exists. And you submitted a PR to take it over. Do you really mean to upgrade it again? Mistake in subject. Have modified the details. This should be a different one than the mentioned. As version 2 doesn't have support for mysql 5.1 branch. So for the time being we will maintain two different version. Once 5.1 is no longer in ports tree we can merge it into a single one.
