hexchat will not shutdown when I log out (without restarting) of my desktop (LXDE/Openbox) into the GDM login manager. If I log back in hexchat is still running, but, in the background. There is no icon in the panel's system tray. If I start hexchat again it joins the servers using an alternate nick & I can see my default nick is still in the channels. To shutdown hexchat after logging back in I use the command "killall hexchat" or kill it from a task manager.

Possible related ports:

irc/hexchat
x11/lxde-meta
x11-wm/openbox

I suppose x11/gdm could also be related.

I'm updating all LXDE ports and currently working on integrating x11-wm/lxsession with devel/dbus. I will look if this problem is still present once I have the new LXDE running as intended. Thank you.

Move PR out of triage.
