We disallowed to perform some actions on purpose. You should however be able to close your own bugs. (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #1) > We disallowed to perform some actions on purpose. To me, or to all committers? (In reply to Mikhail T. from comment #2) > (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #1) > > We disallowed to perform some actions on purpose. > > To me, or to all committers? To non-committers. (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #3) > > To me, or to all committers? > > To non-committers. Sic transit gloria mundi... I am a committer, Marcus. A mere ports-committer, but a committer nonetheless -- mi@... Had I NOT been one, how could I have been "able to affect any sort of changes using edit-pr"? Please, do the needful. Thank you! I'm confused. - edit-pr is no longer used, along with the rest of gnats. - edit-pr *was* for use by people with logins to freefall Can you please clarify: - What action(s) you should be able to take, but can't - As what user or group(s) in Bugzilla - And provide example bugs that reproduce the issue Thanks Mikhail (In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #5) > - edit-pr *was* for use by people with logins to freefall Right. And I was using it, because I have a login to freefall -- because I am a committer (mi@). Your Comment #3 suggests, my current privileges are those of non-committers. > Can you please clarify: > > - What action(s) you should be able to take, but can't > - As what user or group(s) in Bugzilla As mi@ALDAN.algebra.com -- the only Bugzilla-account I am aware of -- I can not, for example, assign PRs to others or even take them myself. Nor can I close them. > - And provide example bugs that reproduce the issue Bug 195256 is a good example. Bugzilla Automation there states: "Maintainer CC-ed" -- instead of "Assigned to Maintainer". That's, probably, because Bugzilla is unaware, that I am a committer... If a separate Bugzilla-accounts (mi@FreeBSD.org) exists -- I'm not sure -- could it, please, be merged with mi@ALDAN.algebra.com? Thanks! (In reply to Mikhail T. from comment #6) > If a separate Bugzilla-accounts (mi@FreeBSD.org) exists -- I'm not sure -- > could it, please, be merged with mi@ALDAN.algebra.com? Thanks! It does, please log out from this account, log in with your FreeBSD name and comment here. (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #7) > FreeBSD name and comment here. I can not -- I have no idea, what that account's (mi@FreeBSD.org) is and when I try to use the "Forgot Password" feature, I'm told that: "The system is not configured to allow password change requests." As an alternative, I created a file named PR-196164.txt in my home directory on freefall -- with this comment duplicated inside it. Would that be sufficient proof? You can also browse through ports maintained by mi@aldan.algebra.com -- and check, who usually commits in them :-) (In reply to Mikhail T. from comment #8) > (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #7) > > FreeBSD name and comment here. > > I can not -- I have no idea, what that account's (mi@FreeBSD.org) is and > when I try to use the "Forgot Password" feature, I'm told that: I mailed you the instructions seperately. (In reply to Marcus von Appen from comment #7) > log in with your FreeBSD name and comment here. There once was a Bugzilla-admin, Who did not treat users like vermin. They liked him a lot, And what problems they got, Marcus solved -- many thanks this way earning.
