I would suggest moving varnish 3.x branch to www/varnish3 port - both 3.x and 4.x branches are supported by upstream. 4.x has many major changes, some third party modules may stop working because of it. Upgrade for some systems may be a big deal, so www/varnish3 would be a nice to have for transition period. TIA. I just took maintainership of www/varnish, and will look into this soon.
