The poudriere testport log (FreeBSD 10 amd64)
This release seems to be buggy. Ship equipment names are not shown in shop. (In reply to comment #2) (In reply to comment #2) I sent you email with screenshot, which shows equipment names for this release version. It could be related to various issues, e.g. 3336: https://github.com/pioneerspacesim/pioneer/issues/3336 But I don't have this issue here. As I understand, this software is in development. (In reply to Dmitry Marakasov from comment #2) There is a "Pioneer FAQ", where some causes of mentioned (graphical) issues explained: http://pioneerwiki.com/wiki/FAQ It could be related to (integrated) video card used or not supported shaders, OpenGL version. In other words, specific to what hardware used. Not exlcuding, that it is a (software) bug, of course. Seems like it was related to savegame incompatibility after all. In new game, there's no such bug. Committed, thanks! In general, it is useful to backup ~/.pioneer directory for new version, then delete it before start. It is possible to use the same ~/.pioneer/savefiles directory in case of compatibility with new version. Also, there could be a cache of shaders inside of ~/.nv/GLCache directory, which might be a cause of graphical artifacts, in case of NVidia video card used, but solvable with resolution changes in-game, etc. |
