After running pkg install with a few packages on the command line, it wound up installing 300+ packages to fulfill the dependencies. Many of them had messages to communicate at the end, but they all scrolled by. For anyone that didn't think to capture the pkg output with script or tee, this may lead them to miss important information.

If pkg's controlling terminal is a tty and it has lots of messages to communicate, it should automatically pipe them through less.

The messages I'm talking about are this sort:

Message for xfce4-session-4.10.1_3:
To be able to shutdown or reboot your system, you'll have to add a .pkla file
in /usr/local/etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d directory. Which looks
like this (replace PUTYOURGROUPHERE by your group):

etc.
