I've been informed to expect the Xymon 4.3.19 release within a week, so I will close this PR. This fix was successfully upstreamed and we'll get it soon enough. There isn't high demand for Xymon on FreeBSD; this incompatibility with libressl will hardly be noticed in the meantime. |
Created attachment 154210 [details] svn diff for net-mgmt/xymon-server irc/charybdis unconditionally relies on RAND_egd which makes building fail with LibreSSL which has removed EGD. FreeBSD does not require EGD at all, /dev/random has been available since FreeBSD 4.2
