Forgot to add the type of file dumped- file midori.core midori.core: ELF 64-bit LSB core file x86-64, version 1 (FreeBSD), too many program header sections (9974) What's toolkit is used? GTK2 (default) or GTK3? What's version of webkit-gtk? I have installed the default latest version on 4th with xfce 4.12, did a pkg update and upgrade later . pkg info webkit-gtk2 webkit-gtk2-2.4.8_1 Name : webkit-gtk2 Version : 2.4.8_1 Installed on : Mon Mar 9 12:50:31 IST 2015 Origin : www/webkit-gtk2 Architecture : freebsd:10:x86:64 Prefix : /usr/local Categories : www Licenses : Maintainer : gnome@FreeBSD.org WWW : http://webkit.org/ Comment : Opensource browser engine using the GTK+ 2 toolkit Problem is still present with the latest release (0.5.10) of Midori? Yes, the problem still persists. I have updated midori to the latest version, also webkit-gtk. Mind that this PC has an SSD. Unfortunately I lost the iostat capture which showed heavy writes, tps. ls -lh midori.core -rw------- 1 user user 1.7G Jul 17 04:18 midori.core pkg info webkit-gtk2 webkit-gtk2-2.4.9 Name : webkit-gtk2 Version : 2.4.9 Installed on : Thu Jul 16 03:44:03 IST 2015 Origin : www/webkit-gtk2 Architecture : freebsd:10:x86:64 Prefix : /usr/local Categories : www Licenses : Maintainer : gnome@FreeBSD.org WWW : http://webkitgtk.org/ Comment : Opensource browser engine using the GTK+ 2 toolkit pkg info midori midori-0.5.10 Name : midori Version : 0.5.10 Installed on : Thu Jul 16 03:44:09 IST 2015 Origin : www/midori Architecture : freebsd:10:x86:64 Prefix : /usr/local Categories : xfce www Licenses : MIT and LGPL21 Maintainer : xfce@FreeBSD.org WWW : http://www.midori-browser.org/ Hi, Is this problem still present with the current portstree? We have version 5.11. Does this problem this exists? (I have no such problems with midori). Or is it feedback timeout? I will open a new ticket if this occurs, right now I am not using Midori on FreeBSD anymore. |
