On CURRENT (FreeBSD 11.0-CURRENT #0 r281371: Fri Apr 10 17:43:37 CEST 2015 amd64) several ports with .xz-compressed  tarballs fail, for instance the ports x11-toolkits/gtk30, x11-toolkits/gtk20 and others with the following error:

This is a issue in base, the part of the commit that causes this problem has been reverted in: rev 281372 [1] while the problem is diagnosed.
