 	This port requires the OpenSSL library, which is part of
 	the FreeBSD crypto distribution but not installed on your
 	machine. Please see Chapter 6.5 in the handbook for
 	instructions on how to obtain and install the FreeBSD
 	OpenSSL distribution.

 	Stop.
 	*** Error code 1
 	Stop in /usr/ports/japanese.
 	*** Error code 1
 	Stop in /usr/ports.

Fix: 

fix ports/Mk macros I guess
How-To-Repeat:          cd /usr/ports ; make clean

Unless you can show me otherwise, the error message is correct 
and you need to do what it says. The exact handbook reference 
is wrong however - see this URL:
