Fix Summary and notify maintainer.
Comment 3 Naram Qashat 2015-07-18 05:45:01 UTC
While the current port is at 1.8.9.1, there is a pending update for 1.8.10 at bug #201365. I have just now done a test compile inside of a FreeBSD 10 amd64 poudriere jail and it builds without error. I cannot say why 1.8.9.1 fails to build. But I would like to request this bug be closed as invalid because it will be invalid once the port is updated.
Comment 4 Jason Unovitch freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2015-07-18 20:15:19 UTC
(In reply to Naram Qashat from comment #3)
Naram, the best thing would be for the requester of this PR to mark this bug as "depends on" bug 201365 so that there is an open PR documenting the build failure with the current version until the port gets updated. Once bug 201365 is closed this PR can be marked fixed.
Comment 5 Naram Qashat 2015-07-27 18:02:19 UTC
Now that 1.8.10 has been committed, can you verify that it compiles for you now?

5 minutes ago I logged in, ran:

sudo portsnap fetch
sudo portsnap update
sudo freebsd-update fetch
sudo freebsd-update install

This is the result:

Comment 8 Naram Qashat 2015-08-05 09:39:05 UTC
At this point, I'm not sure what to tell you. The problem seems to be on your system only, as I ran the build within a FreeBDS 10.1 poudriere jail inside a VM and it built completely without failing. I cannot reproduce this issue.
Comment 9 John Marino freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2015-12-21 16:41:56 UTC
It doesn't appear that the report ever was valid in a general sense. In any case, it's building fine on FreeBSD 10 now according to portsmon:
http://portsmon.freebsd.org/portoverview.py?category=devel&portname=doxygen&wildcard=

Closing as "can't reproduce"
