Hi,

I have tried loading the Radeon REDWOOD module (As stated in the wiki), but it seems that the kernel module is not compatible with Mobility Radeon HD 5650; the screen turns fully black as soon as the module gets loaded in the kernel, and it stays black.

I am currently using the Xorg drivers, but they don't seem so smooth (Rough scrolling and window moving, etc...), so it would be really great for us to have support for our video cards (If possible), so we would be able to smoothly use Xorg and use graphic intense software.

Thank you!

Can you please recheck if support for Radeon HD 56xx series is still missing in recent FreeBSD versions? Note that DRM bits had been moved out of the base system/kernel to the `graphics/drm-*-kmod' and `graphics/gpu-firmware-kmod' ports.

Your report was against 10.2-RELEASE which went out of support long time ago. Please update to the supported FreeBSD version.

Adding x11@ to CC list so it can be tracked while originally filed under base system/kern.
