Hi, Will this apply only to the default (dist) file shipped by the port? Do users need to update their own configurations? I was about to close this for no feedback, but seeing the requested change, I'd rather ask if anyone familiar with Snort could pitch in? Is patching the URL sufficient, or something else needs to be done? I'm attaching a complete svn patch per requested changes, but need more info per comment #1. Created attachment 175691 [details]
Correct URL for snort SID lookup, correct URL in pkg-descr
Build tests passed: portlint (warnings from before), Poudriere amd64 11.0-p1, 10.3-p10 and 9.3-p47. Keeping the needs-qa flag for requested feedback. Revert assignee, I'm sorry for the noise, I intended to close so the field remained... Is this still relevant?
