Interestingly, I tested portlint -AC and it reported:

WARN: Makefile: [48]: use ${VARIABLE}, instead of $(VARIABLE).

which is a false match.

Committed, thanks. I was trying to find any trace of a changelog between 1.0 and 1.1 and failed, short of a diff of the versions. Any ideas where it might have been ?
