Description David Chisnall freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2015-09-06 09:40:23 UTC
pkg-message contains the following text:

NOTE: The musicpd server is pretty useless without a client.
You might want to install one of the following ports too:
musicpc, ncmpc, glurp, gmpc, kmp, or phpmp.

Most of these exist, but kmp does not. quimup and qmpdlient do, so these should probably be recommended. Ideally, this text would also sort them according to the kind of UI, for example:

Command line: musicpc, ncmpc (Curses)
GNOME / GTK: glurp, gmpc
KDE / Qt: quimup, qmpdlient
Web: phpmp

A commit references this bug:

Author: theraven
Date: Thu Oct 8 14:18:12 UTC 2015
New revision: 398828
URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/398828

Log:
Fix the post-install message to only refer to ports that actually exist.

While here, sort them a bit so that the user doesn't have to look up the relevant one for their DE / use case.
