FreeBSD 4.0 won't  recognize more than two drives with a symbios 53c875j
on my Proliant 6500.
Under linux everything is fine.

The sym driver maintainer is going to need more detail. 
Could you send the dmesg(8) output from the box when it 
is booted with ``boot -v'' at the loader prompt?
