Looks like the site have been changed. Yes; it seems the project is no longer supported by the current master site. I did a greater research and found the current project homepage hosted at github.com. I could rewrite the port to use this page, but than PEAR is no longer needed for installation. And after some more research i could not even find any PEAR dependency in the project. It seems pear was just used for installation. I would like to question this port. It is a dependency for graphics/pear-IO_SWF, but this port suffers the same problems (PR: 204033). In my opinion there are two options: 1) rewrite both ports, removing pear dependency and renaming them 2) mark them unfetchable and remove them if this does not change What is your opinion? I followed your suggestion 2. QA is very simple for this one: # make stage && make stage-qa && make check-plist ====> Running Q/A tests (stage-qa) ====> Checking for pkg-plist issues (check-plist) ===> Parsing plist ===> Checking for items in STAGEDIR missing from pkg-plist ===> Checking for items in pkg-plist which are not in STAGEDIR ===> No pkg-plist issues found (check-plist) Also i just executed the sample for a runtime test: # php work/IO_Bit-2.3.0/sample/iobit_get.php /tmp/muff 1 1:0 Greetings, Torsten
