I got this notification:

Port | Current version | New version
------------------------------------------------+-----------------+------------
mail/mailpile | 0.5.2 | gunsmoke--thelastapachetag

0.5.2 was released Aug 9, 2015
Gunsmoke--TheLastApacheTag was released Jul 1, 2015

So it detected the wrong version for some reason.

Hi Yuri

Portscout guesses based on a few factors and, if it gets a reply to a
GET request for a file that it asked for that it thinks is a 'bigger
number...'

hhttp://portscout.freebsd.org/info/portscout-portconfig.txt

This information will let you disable portscout, ignore certain
versions, etc.

Martin,

But there is no "bigger number" there, this is a problem. Also the release date is earlier. So it shouldn't suggest such version.
