Thanks for the report! A commit references this bug: Author: jgh Date: Fri Feb 19 21:53:49 UTC 2016 New revision: 48211 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/doc/48211 Log: - address dead link PR: 207355 Submitted by: rootc2@rpi.edu Approved by: bcr (mentor) Differential Revision: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D5358 Changes: head/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.xml |
Created attachment 167199 [details] Diff of the current book.xml and a version with the link changed to bikeshed.com The link to the bike shed email on the "Miscellaneous Questions" page, which points to a FreeBSD Hackers page, is dead. The relevant portions are still quoted on the page of course, but the actual link is dead. I recommend linking instead to bikeshed.com, a site devoted to the analogy of the bike shed. The page containing the dead link in question is /doc/head/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.xml.
