Tried to access ftp.freebsd.org , got no response. I'm on an unfiltered Wifi, tried multiple browsers.

Can you resolve the IP for ftp.freebsd.org?

Turns out it was just the browsers using ftp as the protocol (ftp://). I put https:// in and got access... Sorry for that
