The ifconfig man page indicates that the "tunnel" keyword is only applicable to gif interfaces, but it's actually for gre as well. The man page should be updated to reflect this.

I created a review with a makeshift patch. I'm not entirely happy with this because it says that the parameters are "specific to..." and these are now listed twice, so it's not really "specific to". But it's an improvement.
