at the beginning of 8.3. Finding the System Hardware https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/kernelconfig-devices.html
you can read this
"Before editing the kernel configuration file, it is recommended to perform an inventory of the machine's hardware. On a dual-boot system, the inventory can be created from the other operating system. For example, Microsoft®'s Device Manager contains information about installed devices.
For example, Micro$oft®'s Device Manager contains information about installed devices.[/quote]

and this is in the BEGINING of this documentary page!
in the begining of instruction to find out what hardware you're using on FreeBSD (FREE OS) users can read advice to install and run $hity micro$oft windo$(!!!) in my opinion (and i think not only in my) it is WRONG, VERY WRONG.

i think this information IS NOT HELPFULL AT ALL,
because many people install FreeBSD because it is FREE,
and most of them have been already using windo$, and they already know how to see what hardware you have on that fu*in proprietary piece of... software.
