Hi Friends,

I would like to install tomcat8 as a non-root user in freebsd 10.1.

Can some one please help me with procedure.

Just download it from http://tomcat.apache.org, unpack and run. Can you install jdk from ports with root user? You need jdk (jre?) to start tomcat.
