Description Xin LI freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2016-04-06 20:23:35 UTC
Reported by Ernie Luzar luzar722@gmail.com Message-ID: <57050250.4020700@gmail.com>

In particular, on page: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/10.3R/announce.html, the following text:

"SHA256 and MD5 hashes for the release ISO, memory stick, and SD card images are included at the bottom of this message."

Should read:

"SHA256 and SHA256 hashes for the release ISO, memory stick, and SD card images are included at the bottom of this message.

In sure you mean "SHA256 and SHA512 hashes ..."

Would it be a problem if I just changed this? Not sure on the etiquette of changing release notes.

Yes. Please don't.

Release notes for 11.x and prior are immutable after the final release build. And, 10.3 is no longer supported anyway. (I actually thought I closed this PR based on the latter point a few weeks ago.)
Comment 4 Chris Rees freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2019-04-08 08:36:23 UTC
Thanks, thought they were supposed to be immutable. I'll let RE do the closing then :)
Comment 5 Glen Barber freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2019-04-08 13:08:05 UTC
10.3-RELEASE has reached end of life; as result, closing this PR.
