Please, don't change ${INSTALL_foo} ${WRKSRC}/foo ... to cd ${WRKSRC} &&
${INSTALL_foo, it takes a long time to put it back like it was while checking
if you did not add some other change while you were there.
Also, The post-patch lines did not need to be changed, they worked great, and
still do.
Don't use a pre-configure if there is already a do-configure.
Don't reformat pkg-descr unless it has very long lines.
