On a 4.1-RELEASE system the boot splash displays my splash.bmp file,
but after upgrading to 4.1-STABLE it doesn't.  The screensaver also
doesn't display anything.  All's I get is a blank screen.

How-To-Repeat: Install 4.1-RELEASE            -  splash works
Install 4.1-STABLE (28/08/00)  -  splash not work

Revision 1.10.2.1 of sys/modules/splash/bmp/splash_bmp.c is what broke.

Reverting back to 1.10 works.
