	I applied the patch below to my rc scripts to configure the
	parallel printer port operation mode before running lpd. I hope
	it will be useful to other FreeBSD users too.

How-To-Repeat: 
	Just apply the patch below.

The defaults in more recent versions of FreeBSD are more 
suitable for the majority of our users, so I'm not sure 
that this patch is still needed. 

If this is still a problem, please ask to re-open this PR.
