Description fonvi 2000-09-17 10:30:00 UTC
With kernel using pci.c 1.141.2.3 (Stable from Sep 1 2000 and next)
my laptop Acer507DX lock up at boot just after this line:

atapci0: <Intel PIIX4 ATA33 controller> port 0x8000-0x800f at device 7.1
on pci0

Fix:

Downgrade pci.c to 1.141.2.2 version and it runs fine
How-To-Repeat: Each boot

This appears to be related to a change I made to resolve some PCI resource
allocation issues.
