Created attachment 220235 [details] A 2016 photograph from the earlier issue in the TrueOS repo The second of the two 2016 photographs from <https://github.com/trueos/trueos-core/issues/91#issuecomment-254068020>. Visually, helping to distinguish this bug from more recent bug 244906 (kernel booted by loader.efi on VMware Fusion crashes in EFI firmware), which to my untrained eye is also an installer hang of sorts. I strongly suspect that this 2016 bug will be no longer reproducible. Mattias: if you find otherwise – with the latest FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT, or with 13.2-RC6 – please reopen, or make a new report, with additional details. Thank you. |
