A related bug at: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=215143 Maybe you can try to build your own install media like I did (outlined the steps in the report) and see if it boots for you. I installed FBSD 11 in Virtualbox and used that as the build system. It took something like 8 hours an a 4 core Xeon. If you can, please grab the test image from https://people.freebsd.org/~emaste/mini-image-2018-05-28-amd64.xz uncompressing it and writing it to a USB stick, and try booting that on this hardware. (The test image is not a full installer; it should just boot up to a login prompt.) ^Triage: close as OBE. I'm sorry that this PR did not get addressed in a timely fashion. Please let us know if this still occurs on a supported OSVERSION. |
