The 'grant group' (who can set a flag value) for the exp-run flag is currently portmgr (the bugzilla group). This will be changed to the 'freebsd_committer' group, enabling any developer the ability to improve the accuracy of issue metadata. A bonus of this is reducing the need to maintain up-to-date group membership (keeping portmgr@ membership and freebsd_portmgr bugzilla group in sync) exp-run flag grant group modified: freebsd_portmgr -> freebsd_committer Should you (or anyone else) consider that this flags grant group could/should be broadened further, please let us know with examples/benefits, as we are interested in minimizing the number of group specific permissions in the long-term (retaining issue integrity of course) Re-open : am I in the portmgr group? (In reply to Antoine Brodin from comment #3) It does not appear that you and a few others are members of that group at present Looks like anyone (or just those in editbugs) can grant exp-run flag nowadays. |
