Description Daniel 2017-03-13 14:23:05 UTC
mod_geoip2 has been replaced by mod_maxminddb, and should be so in ports as well.

The libmaxminddb requirement is already in ports.

It seems like mod_geoip2 stopped getting updates in 2015, has been labeled as “legacy”, and support documentation was removed in early 2016.

The main advantage of mod_maxminddb is IPv6 support and faster lookups.
