Today it happened again. I have not put the aforementioned parts back into the machine. Reboots would fail prior to the kernel load. I turned the machine off for a few hours, upon power up it was back to normal. The mb is a Tyan Thunder dual 100. thanks again, greg problem continues.. State Changed From-To: open->feedback Can this problem report be closed? NMI's usually indicate parity errors or some sort of hardware problem, so it is unlikely to be a FreeBSD bug.
