Due to a bug in tor 0.3.1.1-alpha you might want to wait for tor 0.3.1.2-alpha:

Even though there is a patch for https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/22368 now in git master, I'll close this and open a new one once 0.3.1.2-alpha is released.
