Tried booting both the install CD and DVD (DVD was booted via Target disk mode as the combo drive is failing to read bootable DVD’s) but it freezes at cryptosoft0, preventing installation. I want to give FreeBSD a try on this Mac as Linux is pretty much dead on these older Radeon based G4’s. Thank you for your help today.
