after loading i4b-00.96.00, doing tar xzvf, .-overinstall.sh, compiling userland programs, recompiling kernel and setting sppp over isdn, I am capable
pinging any computer in the web
conecting to any ftp server and loading data from it
reading email from my ISP

I am not capable

sending post
reading http pages
on reading http pages the machine gets the IP address of the host, but fails to get any data
