Description anarcat+register 2018-10-23 02:09:54 UTC
Hi! I have completely forgotten I am the maintainer of this port, up to the where I have missed the last few update windows. There's a bitrot-fixing update (0.42) pending now, and I don't really have a platform (or a use case) to test this anymore as I don't have a running FreeBSD system at home. I hope someone else can pick it up. I'm one of the co-maintainer of the Debian (and upstream) side of things now so I'd still be happy to help if there are any questions. Note that the firstname.lastname@example.org email address is now dormant as well. Have a nice day. A.

If its possible for you to ack the feedback flag on the bugzilla account with the kounbit email, it will help us process this change more quickly. We can also merge the accounts if you like as well (once ack'ed) so you can retain the histories of both.

sure. i didn't even realize i had an account here. sorry for the trouble and yes, if you could merge the two accounts that would be swell. :)
Comment 3 anarcat+register 2018-10-23 13:41:58 UTC
consider this a confirmation from the other email that merging is okay as well. :)

@Tobias I can't see a commit to security/monkeysphere resetting maintainer, which is what's being requested here

(In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #4) https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports?view=revision&revision=482964 No idea why Bugzilla hasn't picked it up.

Ah, freshports.org is out of date too (still is) and didn't show the update. I should have checked svn log. I see a weird character at the end of the PR: line, I bet that's what caused it.
