When I boot FreeBSD 11.2,RELEASE, 12.0-RC or 13.0-CURRENT r341429 on HP Envy Pro 4-b000, I get stuck at this line:

pci0: <ACPI PCI bus> on pcib0

This issue exists in both UEFI and BIOS mode.

FreeBSD 10.1 boots fine on this laptop in BIOS mode only.

Windows 10 is what is currently installed on the hard drive.

I got the Envy secondhand as a "testing" laptop (one that I can run CURRENT on, and possibly other OSes as well before wiping my production laptop) as opposed to a "primary" laptop (that would be a HP EliteBook 1040 G3 which works fine with FreeBSD).

OpenBSD 6.4 and ElementaryOS 5.0 boots on this laptop successfully. Both are from LiveUSB in UEFI mode.

I'm giving this laptop away to my dad (or returning it if he doesn't want it), so I won't be able to test FreeBSD ACPI and PCI on this laptop.

Keeping this bug open unless it should be closed.

Keep in mind that I no longer have the Envy. I returned it.
