Are you able to provide a patch? Dependending on the nature of branch support and dependents, this probably needs to take the form of: - A new graphics/opencv4 port, leaving graphics/opencv on 3.x, OR - Move graphics/opencv to graphics/opencv3, then updating graphics/opencv to 4.x Note: This port also needs a maintainer (currently unmaintained) (In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #2) Personally think be best to keep opencv as 3.x and make a new opencv4. Reason I think this, is by the wording in the URL, seems 3.x will be supported, atleast as bugfixes and light features. 4.x series needs c++11 compiler, which will affect archs that doesn't have one, such as mips* (In reply to Nathan from comment #1) No, currently I am not able to. I would like to try it. As a starting point, I am copying opencv (and its slave ports) to opencv3 and updating to opencv 3.4.5. If somebody is already working on it, please let me know. arnov is working on opencv 4.0.1 port. https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/make-extract-extracts-two-files-to-the-same-location.69940/ The OpenCV 3 side (version 3.4.5) is done in bug #237135. Changes to ports that depends on OpenCV remain to be done. 4.1.0 current stable I close this PR since no proper patch was provided, and we have no maintainer for this port. |
