(In reply to Marvin Gülker from comment #0) We don't have the procedure ready for deleting account at this point (as far as I know): it's impossible to delete account without affecting history. I guess we can generate random name and random email and update your user's data, so it would look like re-assigning to random account. Would it be sufficient? Yes, this is sufficient. Thank you for your efforts. (In reply to vi0xrhvpa from comment #2) User login has been renamed to random email and blocked with "[DELETED]" tag in disable text. Perhaps we can prefix the random email address consistently so that we can find them in the future, if/when we have a better process/methods for dealing with these requests. Also, did we reset 'Full Name' field (if it was set)? Consolidating "account deleted by user request" tickets. To do so, I have merged the devnull@FreeBSD.org "non-account" into ACCOUNT_DELETED@FreeBSD.org. (e.g.: ./contrib/merge-users.pl spammer@spam.spamain ACCOUNT_DELETED@FreeBSD.org ) I am now going to do a pass through the database making all of these consitent. |
