It seems the download link for the texlive-texmf tarball has changed.

The makefile currently uses ftp://ftp.tug.org/historic/systems/texlive/2015/texlive-20150523-texmf.tar.xz

but portmaster doesn't find the file there. I looked at their download archive and changed the url in the makefile to 
ftp://tug.org/historic/systems/texlive/2015/texlive-20150523-texmf.tar.xz 
(without leading ftp subdomain) and it works.

Fetching the tarball now works at the current URL: 

=> texlive-20150523-texmf.tar.xz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/home/koobs/repos/freebsd/ports/distfiles/TeX.
