looks chinese to me :)

(In reply to Tobias C. Berner from comment #1) On my system (with Qt 5.12 and creator just built now via poudriere), LANG seems to have no effect on QtCreator. Neither zh_CN nor de nor pt_BR give me anything other than English in the UI. Tools -> Options -> Environment contains a drop-down of languages, defaulting to <System Language>. The only other option in that drop-down is English. (In reply to Adriaan de Groot from comment #2) Do you have qt5-l10n installed? No, I don't have qt5-l10n installed; it isn't pulled in either by x11/kde5 or devel/qtcreator. After installing it, I **do** have multiple language options and can change them. Although the zh_TW translation isn't very complete. In any case, for the OP: install misc/qt5-l10n and then you do have other languages available for qtcreator. Closing as works-as-intended, although really it's works-once-necessary-package-is-installed. |
