Description antonsh 2000-12-25 14:40:00 UTC
I can't boot from cd-rom drive (above releases), but with old one (3.3.6 releas it's Ok). the booting is stops after the 3Com 3c-509B is detected. I try to istall other operating system like Linux (Red hat 6.1) it's all Ok. Windows is working ok. So I don't understand what's troubling freeBSD. I've got two cd-rom drives and two hard disk. The IDE_Conf that i found on the FreeBSD cd-rom is report the error.

Is this still a problem? Can you provide a dmesg?
(FWIW, this should have been filed under kern category)
