FreeBSD >= 14 uses tput from ncurses which supports terminfo, see https://cgit.freebsd.org/src/commit/?id=61f66a1f4403fded9aae14d890ad96914a3c0bc1 |
Created attachment 206756 [details] Diff to remove reference to terminfo(5) Chatting with RhodiumToad on IRC, they said that FreeBSD exclusively uses termcap, not terminfo. The tput.1 man-page referenced terminfo(5) which had me chasing the wrong syntax, trying to use `tput setaf 4` (which had worked on my Linux install) instead of `tput AF 4`. The attached diff should remove that misleading reference.
