Bug 241733

Summary: FreeBSD home/index page uses invalid XHTML
Product: Documentation Reporter: Andras Farkas <deepbluemistake>
Component: WebsiteAssignee: Sergio Carlavilla Delgado <carlavilla>
Status: Closed Overcome By Events
Severity: Affects Many People CC: carlavilla

OS: Any

Description Andras Farkas 2019-11-05 11:37:11 UTC
The XHTML is invalid on FreeBSD's main page:
https://www.freebsd.org/
It's proclaimed as invalid in both of these:
https://validator.w3.org/
https://validator.w3.org/nu/

This is a different bug than
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=241732
because the home/main/index page doesn't seem to be generated by DocBook.

I'm willing to fix this bug myself since I'm proficient in HTML.

This was fixed with the Hugo/AsciiDoctor migration.
Right now we have HTML5 valid HTML.
