x1g7 has "4 x 360-degree far-field microphones" which apparently require DSP support to be of any use.

From Linux kernel bug 201251:
> The only way to enable DMIC support with HDA is to enable the DSP support.
> If you use the legacy HDaudio driver you will not be able to access the DSP.
