Firefox forgets preferences on every update. Firefox plugin settings are also forgotten.

Reporter, could you please provide additional information, including:

- Exact FreeBSD version (uname -a)
- pkg version -v output (as an attachment)

All FreeBSD versions affected (this has always been a problem). Currently 12.1-RELEASE r354233

Maybe your Firefox profile is corrupted. Can you reproduce with a fresh profile?

  $ mkdir /tmp/test_profile
  $ firefox -profile /tmp/test_profile
  $ pkg upgrade
  $ firefox -profile /tmp/test_profile
