Bug 24276

Summary: XFree86-4 port doesn't put patch-1 in the attic
Product: Ports & Packages Reporter: dgilbert <dgilbert>
Component: Individual Port(s)Assignee: Satoshi Asami <asami>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description dgilbert 2001-01-12 16:30:03 UTC
In the XFree86-4 port as installed by distribution CDROMs, there are
a number of patch files that have been deleted from the cvs tree
without being put in the attic. Even with "*default delete" turned
on in my supfile, patch-1 is not deleted and causes the XFree86-4
port build to fail.

Fix:

I would assume this would be fixed by putting patch-1 (among other
missing patch files) into the attic.
How-To-Repeat:
Install 4.2-RELEASE from CDROM distribution

cvsup to 4.2-STABLE

attempt to make the XFree86-4 port

This sounds as though it requires some repomeistering. I wonder whether
the problem was caused by the recent purging of Attics (did the problem
happen before Tuesday?).

Hmm didn't Peter Wemm put some files back in the Attics yesterday/today?

G'luck,
Peter
