This is an issue with micro that happens when you upgrade to version 2.0, and then go back to using a 1.x version without resetting your configuration file (specifically the autosave option in `settings.json`). I recommend upgrading to v2 using that permanently. I haven't upgraded to version 2.0 and then gone back. (In reply to greencoppermine from comment #2) does it happen with micro 2.0.4? bug #247099 Is this still a problem with 2.0.6? |
Created attachment 213234 [details] Screenshot of crash in Xterm $ micro -version Version: 1.4.1 Commit hash: 1856891 Compiled on August 9, 2018 Start micro and press ALT+g. The menu in the bottom opens up. Wait about 5 seconds without doing anything and micro crashes. See attached screenshot.
