A commit references this bug: Author: cperciva Date: Sat Apr 11 17:48:13 UTC 2020 New revision: 531444 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/531444 Log: Use canonical spelling of "/nonexistent". I accidentally spelled this as "/nonexistent/" yesterday, which broke the special handling of that path and resulted in /nonexistent existing. PR: 245537 Submitted by: Thomas Hurst Changes: head/UIDs Thanks! |
Created attachment 213291 [details] Patch to UIDs spiped 1.6.1 added a malformed UIDs entry, using /nonexistent/ as a home directory. The trailing slash breaks Script/do-users-groups.sh's special handling for it, resulting in /nonexistent actually being created.
